Family run with an emphasis on fine food and relaxed, but attentive, friendly service, The Boath House is renowned for its style, quality and fine cuisine. The Matheson family have lovingly restored and run this multi-award-winning hotel nestled on the Moray Firth coast in the majestic Scottish Highlands for the past 28 years.

Nine unique and stylish rooms, each individually-styled and furnished. There are also two cottages in the grounds for even more privacy.

Dining

Boath House is known for fine dining and seasonal à la carte menus featuring the herbs, vegetables and fruit grown in their award-winning gardens. The Kale Yard Café is located in the 400-year-old walled garden and uses a wood-fired oven for a daily changing menu of garden-inspired dishes. Afternoon Tea is a real treat, served overlooking the lake in the main dining room or outside in the lush gardens.

Boath House is surrounded by 22 acres of lawns, wildflower meadow, woodland and streams and also home to swans, wild geese, ducks and various types of Scottish native birdlife.
