There are many factors which contribute to the success of a conference, but at EICC, there are three essential elements: opportunities for networking, an engaging conference programme, and a destination which inspires.
Encouraging creativity and ideas through networking is central to everything that they do. They believe that world-changing ideas can only transpire when people interact face-to-face. They engage audiences, encourage networking and inspire world-changing ideas by harnessing technology.
The Spaces
When it comes to a stage for the conference programme, there is an impressive selection of flexible auditoria and suites throughout the venue, all of which are full of exciting technology to make every event the most engaging and creative it possibly can be.
The Pentland Suite, for example, is a beautifully designed, raked auditorium for 1,200 delegates which offers brilliant flexibility by revolving into three separate auditoria, in under four minutes. Whilst the Lennox Suite features a moving floor which has the ability to transform the space into a raked theatre for 2,000 delegates, an arena for 1,400 spectators or tiered cabaret for 750 guests.
There have been many legendary speakers gracing the various stages. Speakers who have inspired thousands of delegates, and who have come from all walks of life – from Start-ups to State Leaders, Royalty to Revolutionary, the Famous to the Infamous. And everything in between. The stages where these legendary speakers stand are made of modular components, so the design of the platform can be as unique and attention-grabbing as the subject matter being discussed upon it.

Being located in the centre of Edinburgh means that one of the world’s the most beautiful, historic and stirring city’s right on the doorstep. Edinburgh is a city of wanderlust. It’s Scotland’s beating heart and Europe’s ‘Capital of Cool’. It’s the birthplace of people, ideas and inventions that have shaped the future.
