About the Hotel
The only five-star property in the region, Glencoe House is a magical place to stay and dine. The option of having exclusive, private dining in your suite offers guests the utmost privacy and comfort. Staff members recommend beginning the day with a full Scottish breakfast served in your suite or the Great Hall, before a peaceful walk around the Lochan. Then relax in your private hot tub or in front of a roaring log fire while their chefs prepare a mouth watering five-course dinner also served in your suite with stunning views over Loch Leven and the mountains beyond.
Accommodation
Glencoe House is composed of 14 generous suites split between the main mansion house and the nearby Bell Tower Suites. The suites are made up of one or two bedrooms, lavish bathrooms and personal lounges, some with private hot tubs.
Dining in The Glencoe House Suites
Expect uninterrupted time with your partner, friends and family. Breakfast is served at your private dining room table in your sitting room, which allows you the luxury of easing yourself into the day sitting in your robe, reading a newspaper of your choice and admiring the view over Loch Leven. The feeling of uniqueness and seclusion that Glencoe House offers is extended to candlelit in-suite evening dinners; a seasonal and locally sourced five-course menu will be served at your own dining table in the privacy of your suite. Dress up or dress down – the choice is yours – you will enjoy an elegant restaurant experience all to yourselves.
Dining in The Bell Tower Suites
An extremely flexible affair where guests have the exclusive option of a seasonal five-course menu served in the Great Hall of Glencoe House. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the delights of their fully-stocked kitchen and choose from the wide range of pre-prepared gourmet meals, to be simply slipped into the AGA oven. Then choose accompanying wine or drinks from the ever-popular maxi bar. The result is effortless, indulgent, private dining without being disturbed by fellow guests or waiting staff. Breakfast is similarly private, just select what you are in the mood for from your fully stocked fridge; smoked salmon, continental meats, bread or the traditional Scottish breakfast. Alternatively, if you would prefer the chef to cook one of his breakfast delights, you can book breakfast in the Great Hall.
Local Area
The house is ideally situated for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. Wildlife tours are also available whether by Land Rover or by boat, as well as adventure sports for those who like to get their adrenaline pumping.
