About the Castle
Borthwick Castle is a 15th-century venue that today operates on an exclusive-use basis. There are no set rules or menus, so they specialise in bringing your plans to life – whether that’s breakfast in bed, a personal whisky tasting, a fabulous feast in the great hall, golf at some of Scotland’s top courses or a tailor-made tour of Edinburgh’s historic landmarks. A dedicated exclusive-use team provides the warmest welcome, discreet professional service and that essential personal touch.
Accommodation
There are twelve bedchambers within the Castle, including twins and doubles. They also have Crookston Cottage, that sleeps up to four guests, and the newly refurbished Gatehouse, that sleeps a further two guests, situated on the grounds.
Dining
Multi-award-winning, Roux-trained Head Chef, Derek Johnstone heads up the fantastic, in-house catering team. They host four Dining Clubs a year along with various other Dining Experiences. The dining events are a truly memorable experience where guests join for a sumptuous five-course meal inspired by seasonal, local produce.
